Preterm confirms the dignity of women seeking abortion. We support our patients' ability to make responsible choices about their lives and provide information to further their personal growth.

Preterm addresses unequal access to health care. We keep our services as affordable as possible and offer fee subsidies to women with limited financial resources.

Preterm raises the standards of medical care. We serve as a training site for medical residents and other health professionals who want to learn about high quality abortion care. We also participate in medical research, such as the clinical trials that led to the approval of RU-486 for medication abortion.

Preterm helps protect the right to safe, legal abortion. We keep our patients and supporters informed about reproductive rights issues through displays, newsletters, letter-writing campaigns, and pro-choice events. We also conduct voter registration drives.

Preterm advances reproductive and environmental justice. We believe that both are necessary for a healthy society and we try to embody them every day in our work and to promote them in our communications and special events.
