Adoption

Each woman's life situation is different, and we support all the options available to you. It's about choices, and it is about making sure you are able to do what is best for you.

Preterm offers adoption services in partnership with the Adoption Access Network (AAN), a nationwide network of agencies and clinics that are committed to open adoption and to advocacy and support for birthmothers before and after adoption.

We have specially trained adoption advocates who can work with you if you are too far in your pregnancy for an abortion or you discover in counseling that you would prefer to make an adoption plan.

We chose to partner with AAN because they share our commitment to supporting women and ensuring your control of your pregnancy and parenting decisions. Open adoption is a mutual selection process in which birthmothers have the opportunity to choose the adoptive parents for their child and are able to create a plan for future contact and communication.

A patient advocate can explore your pregnancy options with you and help you determine if adoption is the right choice for you. If you choose adoption, a Preterm adoption advocate will help you thoughout the process.
